The Bicolour (also Bicolor) Angelfish is also called the Pacific Rock Beauty due to its similarity to the Rock Beauty Angelfish
and the Blue and Gold Angel since its colours are actually dark blue and yellow (although the blue sometimes looks black). It has dark
"headphones" over its brow, unlike the Rock Beauty.
Adults can reach some 15cm long. It is native to rocks and reefs of the Indo-Pacific from East Africa to Australasia.
All juveniles are female. Adults have a hierarchy in order of size with the largest transitioning to become the male of the harem when the
current male dies or is removed.
