The Arabian Angelfish, also called the Asfur, looks a little like the Halfmoon (Yellowbar) but is dark navy blue,
sometimes looking black, with a different bar shape and a bright yellow tail. It is native to reefs around the Arabian Sea, including
the Persian Gulf and Red Sea, and the east coast of Africa.
Adults can reach some 40 cm long.
Juveniles, like many Angelfish, are dark blue with white stripes. All young are born female.
