Hungarian Skipper Butterfly
The Hungarian Skipper Butterfly, also called the Orbed Red Underwing Skipper, looks very similar to the Grizzled Skipper (Pyrgus malvae) but is a different genus. It is found from south-eastern Europe (including Hungary) to the Far East; the one shown was in Central Asia. The similar Red Underwing Skipper (Spialia sertorius) is native to southern Europe and North Africa.
Hungarian Skipper Butterfly side The underside - but the spots are squarish, not "orbed" and the underwing isn't red but brown.
