Hadada Ibis
Hadada Ibis
The Hadada Ibis is native to much of sub-Saharan Africa. It is named (in Englsh and binomial) after its extremely loud call of "Ha ha ha de da". Although an ibis, it is as much at home on open grasslands as wetlands, probing for worms and larvae.
