Black-faced Ibis Theristicus melanopis

The Black-faced Ibis is native to South America, mainly to the southern third.

It is similar to the Buff-necked Ibis, also from South America and to which it is related, but the latter doesn't have the black dewlap.

The long curved bill is useful to scratch an itch.
