Black-headed Ibis Threskiornis melanocephalus

The Black-headed Ibis looks similar to the related Sacred Ibis but has a grey bustle rather than black outside of the breeding season. It is native to much of South and Southeast Asia and is sometimes called the Indian or Oriental White Ibis.

Adults have a bare black head and neck but juveniles, above, have feathered grey heads and feathered white necks.
