The Writhed Hornbill, also called the Mindanao Wrinkled Hornbill, comes from the Philippine islands of Mindanao and neighbouring islands.
The male (above) has a large red bill and casque, red facial skin and a blond head and beard looking more like fur than feathers.
Although, in common with many hornbills, the casque of both looks broken at the top, it is not broken -- its just how it grows.
The female (centre) is black like many female hornbills, with yellow/orange facial skin and red bill/casque.
They have long white tails.
