The White-headed Vulture is native to sub-saharan Africa. It is the only species in its genus and populations are declining.
It has white fluff on the top of its head, a brown body, white trousers and a red beak.
Collar up and shirt open to the chest
Main diet is carrion but they have been observed cooperating to hunt small live prey. They are critically
endangered through habitat degradation/loss and poisoning by humans.
