The Cockatiel, the smallest of the cockatoo family, is native to Australia.
Cockatiel male The male, above, has a yellow face, orange cheek-spot and yellow crest.
Cockatiel female The female, above, also has an orange cheek-spot but has a grey crest. She also has a speckled rump and tail.
