The Gang-gang Cockatoo is native to southeast Australia.
The male has a red head with plumed crest that curls forward and a silver-grey body with scalloped feathers.
The female has a grey head with short crest and patterned grey body plumage with scalloped feathers and a red-tinged breast.
They are both musical, whittling wooden flutes.
