The imaginatively-named Red-winged Parrot is native to Australia and Papua New Guinea.
Above is the more colourful male, which also has a blue back.
The female is a plainer green without the black patches and with much less red on her wing.
The Olive-shouldered Parrot, also called the Jonquil Parrot, comes from East and West Timor
and nearby Indonesian Islands. Above is the male. The female doesn't have the blue back or red wing patches.
