Red-fronted/Red-cheeked Macaw Ara rubrogenys
The Red-fronted Macaw, also called Red-cheeked, is native to a small region of Bolivia and is rare and endangered in the wild.
The shoulder is red-orange with light blue on the flight feathers.
The bird above right has anomalous "stress" feathers in orange on the back.
The juveniles are not red-fronted but they are red-cheeked at an early age.
