Goldie's Lorikeet Psitteuteles goldiei/Trichoglossus goldiei

Goldie's Lorikeet is native to the highlands of New Guinea and Papua New Guinea. It is named after the Scottish ornithologist Andrew Goldie.

Some are more plum-faced than the Plum-faced Lorikeet.

Male and female have similar plumage. Juveniles (above right) don't have the red cap.
