The pretty Orange-breasted Fig Parrot is native to Indonesia (West Papua) and Papua New Guinea.
Only the adult male (above) has an orange breast. He also has a pale yellow face with a black teardrop on the cheek.
The female (above) has an all green front and orange cheeks with a blue chin. They both have a blue brow and blue wing edges.
Nests are in holes made in arboreal termite mounds.
