Arctic Tern
Arctic Tern
The Arctic Tern migrates between the Arctic and the Antarctic regions, the longest distance migration of any bird or animal. It breeds in the Arctic/northern hemisphere. It inhabits not only Arctic/Antarctic polar regions but also temperate regions, e.g. south to the U.K. Its tail is slightly longer than the Common Tern and it doesn't have a black tip to its red bill.
