Great White Egret Ardea alba
How to see over the hedge.
My thanks to Alexandra Makhnina for the above photos of the Great White Egret. It has black legs and feet and, in non-breeding plumage, a yellow bill.
The Great White Egret is a white heron about the size of the Grey Heron. It is native to southern Eurasia and the middle Americas.
Male and female have similar plumage (breeding plumage includes a mainly dark bill).
