Yellow-necked Spurfowl Pternistis (prev. Francolinus) leucoscepus

Spurfowl are sometimes called partridge-francolins and were previously grouped with and also called francolins. The Yellow-necked Spurfowl is native to East Africa. Both male and female have a bare yellow neck front. Usually only the male has spurs. They suffer from over-hunting.
