Marail Guan
The Marail Guan, also called the Cayenne Guan, is native to lowlands of northwestern South America (Venezuela, the Guianas, Surinam and NW Brazil). Solitary or paired, they live in the rainforest canopy. Male and female have similar green-tinged black plumage with white edging on the breast and a red throat. Further south it is replaced by the Rusty-margined Guan with brownish scalloping rather than white-edging on the chest.
