The Cinnamon Teal is native to North and South America, mainly in the west.
Pair. The female is similar to the Blue-winged Teal but is more reddish-brown (less greyish-brown) has a less distinct white spot
at the base of her bill and round the eye and has a slightly longer (a bit more shoveler-like) bill.
She is also similar to the female Green-winged Teal but the latter has no white at the base of her shorter bill, is darker brown and has no light blue wing patch.
The juvenile male is like the female but with orange eyes.
