The Lesser White-fronted Goose is a little smaller than the usual European White-fronted Goose, with a pink bill and a thin yellow eye-ring.
It breeds in the far north of Eurasia and winters in southeastern Europe and (mainly) in southern Asia.
It is a very rare vagrant to the UK.
Leading, then following, a line of Ross's geese (the latter do like to swim in a line, like goslings).
The Pink-footed goose seemed besotted with the Lesser White-front, following it everywhere.
