Bronze-winged Duck
The Spectacled Duck, also called the Bronze-winged Duck, comes from southern South America. The large round white patches under each eye, similar to those of the Goldeneye, can resemble spectacles.

The "speculum" or wing bar of the Bronze-winged Duck is not so much bronze but, in most lights, a beautiful metallic crimson. They are related to South American Crested Ducks, which do have bronze wing-bars.
