Imperial Pigeons are large, forest-dwelling pigeons with stomachs and guts adapted for eating fruit
without damaging the seeds so that they assist in dispersing the seeds of their food plants.
The White Imperial Pigeon, also known as the Silver-tipped I. P., is native to forests of Indonesia's Sulawesi and Sula islands.
Male and female have similar plumage. Distinguishing features of the White Imperial differentiating it from other
white with black wing-tips/tail Imperial Pigeons are the blue bill with a greenish yellow tip and the silvery grey on the black wingtips (the "silver tips").
