Peruvian/Maranon Pigeon Patagioenas oenops

The Peruvian or Maranon Pigeon is native to forests of northern Peru and southern Ecuador. It has reddish brown plumage with slate blue-grey areas, similar to its relative, the Red-billed Pigeon of Central America. It is vulnerable through habitat degradation and destruction.
