Sulawesi Ground Dove Gallicolumba tristigmata

The Sulawesi Ground Dove, also called the Yellow-breasted, is native to Indonesia. It has a gold brow, blue crown and burgundy red neck markings.

Male and female have similar plumage, the female being very slightly duller. It is the largest dove in the Gallicolumba ground dove genus and spends most of its life on the ground.

Previously called the Celebes Ground Dove, the bird's name was changed when the islands' name changed to Sulawesi.
