Orange-headed Thrush Geokichla/Zoothera citrina
The Orange-headed Thrush has a large range from the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia.
The male, above, with grey back and orange head/front, is enjoying a shower.
The shower continues. It is a typical thrush in furtive habits and melodious song.
The female, with grey-backed male above, has a brown back with orange head and front.
Both male (above) and female collaborate in construction and soft lining of the nest.
The nest is built with twigs and grasses, sometimes in unusual places (as blackbirds do) and she incubates the eggs.
