Chestnut-backed Thrush Geokichla/Zoothera dohertyi
The Chestnut-backed Thrush is nearly extinct on some of the few Indonesian islands it inhabits.
The continuing decline in the wild is due to habitat loss through deforestation and also to capture as a cage bird for its beautiful voice.
