Hybrid Black-throated and Red-throated Thrush
The Black-throated Thrush used to be considered the same species as the Red-throated Thrush, Turdus ruficollis,
which overlaps the range to the east, and together they were called the Dark-throated Thrush.
Above right is said to be a hybrid Turdus atrogularis x ruficollis.
