Turquoise Tanager Tangara mexicana

The Turquoise Tanager is native to much of the Amazon Basin and adjacent areas including Trinidad but, despite its scientific name, is not native to Mexico. There are four subspecies over its range and some "races" have a white, pale yellow or lemon yellow underside. All have the turquoise wing marks after which it is named.
