White-shouldered Starling Sturnia sinensis

The White-shouldered Starling is native to south China, Vietnam, Myanmar, Thailand, the Malay Peninsula, the Philippines and other parts of Indochina/Southeast Asia.

It is also called the Grey-backed Myna. Only the male has the white shoulder.

The female has a greyer head and body but similar iridescent black wings and white eyes with black pupil.
