Stripe-headed Sparrow Peucaea ruficauda

The Stripe-headed Sparrow is native to the Pacific coast of southern Mexico through to northern Costa Rica. They are "New World Sparrows" not closely related to Old World sparrows. These photos were taken by Alexandra Makhnina in Costa Rica.
