The White-crowned Robin-chat is native to West Africa.
Robin-chats, like robins, spend much of their time on the ground under bushes shifting leaf litter looking for insects.
Like robins, they have a melodious song.

The Snowy-crowned Robin-chat is native to sub-Saharan West and Central Africa. Unlike its White-crowned relative, it has an orange nape
(or collar) and only a parting of white not a cap.
It is also called the Snowy-headed Robin-chat.
Male and female have similar plumage.
