Black-naped Oriole Oriolus chinensis

The Black-naped Oriole is native over a large range of South and Southeast Asia and Siberia. There are several subspecies over its range. Male and female have similar plumage, the male with bolder black markings and more pronounced eye/nape band. The black eye band is wide and covers the nape, unlike the related Indian Golden Oriole, and the pink bill is thicker.
