The Yellow-faced Myna is native to the island of New Guinea and nearby small islands. It has a mainly unfeathered yellow face with a feathered central crown and moustachial stripes. The remaining plumage is dark with a turquoise iridescence, a white rump, yellow belly and white wing spots. Feet and beak are orange.
