The Common or Indian Mynah bird (also spelt "Myna") is resident across central, south and southeast Asia and
(introduced) Australasia. Mynahs are the Starling family.
It has a brown body, black head and bare yellow eye shadow.
It is a gregarious flocking bird and, like most mynahs, it is vocal.

A known phenomenon is the occasional bald-headed Myna, but the reason for it (disease, parasite, moult, etc) is not known.
