Ashy-crowned Sparrow-lark Eremopterix griseus

The Ashy-crowned Sparrow-lark, also called Ashy-crowned Finch-lark, is native to much of South Asia. Thanks to Dr Harsha Vardhan Reddy for sharing the photos on this page.

The males are boldly-marked as shown in the top row and above centre; the females, above left, are plain like female sparrows.
