Saffron Finch Sicalis flaveola

The Saffron Finch, also called Saffron Yellow-finch, is not really a finch but a tanager. It is native to north-eastern and eastern South America.

Both males and females are yellow with olive-grey streaking on the wings and tail. The male has an orange crown.
