Black Drongo Dicrurus macrocercus

The Black Drongo is one of the smaller of several drongo species. Adults have glossy black plumage with a long, forked tail and a white speck at the base of the beak; juveniles have a white-speckled front. The bird is native to South and Southeast Asia. They are agile in flight but have short legs so they often hunt insects from perches, including animals.
