Golden-breasted Bunting Emberiza flaviventris

The Golden-breasted Bunting is native to savannah and open woodland in much of tropical (non-equatorial) sub-Saharan Africa.

The male has brighter breeding plumage than the female (she has browner head stripes, not sharp black and white); juveniles have even more muted colours/pattern.
