Cretzschmar's Bunting Emberiza caesia

Cretzschmar's Bunting breeds in the eastern Mediterranean and spends winter in Northeast Africa. The male, above, has a grey head/breast and salmon pink chin; the female is a duller version.

The Grey-necked Bunting, also called Grey-hooded Bunting, breeds in Central Asia and spends winter in Southern Asia. The male, above, has stronger colouring and markings, including a bolder white eye-ring, than the female.
