The bright Green Broadbill is native to forests of Borneo (together with the other two endemic,
green-coloured broadbills in the same genus) and also to Sumatra and Malaysia.
Female plumage is similar to the male above but without the black markings.
Both are well-camouflaged in the tree canopy as they feed on figs, dispersing the seeds.
The species is likely to become vulnerable in the near future.
