Fire-tufted Barbet Psilopogon pyrolophus

The Fire-tufted Barbet is native to the Malaysian Peninsula and the adjacent Indonesian island of Sumatra. A forest bird, it is well-camouflaged in the trees and eats fruit and invertebrates.

The prominent tuft of red hairs on the top of its broad beak give it its name.
