Bullfinch Pyrrhula pyrrhula
The male (Common) Bullfinch is a most attractive bird with his shining bright pinky red front with smart grey, black and white.
He has a mournful little voice for such a bold-coloured bird.
The hen Bullfinch has a much more muted pink front. One pair were regular visitors to my bird feeders for three years, - very messy eaters.
