The Gingernut Ranger Chicken Gallus gallus domesticus

The Gingernut Ranger was developed by crossing Rhode Island Red with Light Sussex. They are neat birds with upright tails and pale yellow, smooth legs. It is a hardy, very tame, calm hen and prolific layer of large brown eggs - nearly one egg a day.
