Cochin hybrid.
The Cochin, like the Brahma, is a large, feather-legged chicken bred from birds from China received
in Europe and North America in the mid-1800s. A little smaller than the Brahma, Cochin males and females have large, fluffy "bustles".
There are several plumage varieties. Some of those shown here are hybrid Cochins without feathered legs and feet and in non-standard plumage colours.
