Dunnock - The Bath Prunella modularis
The Dunnock often has a bath, - like sunbathing, it helps to control mites and parasites.
However, today was different.
It was still early so (apologies) the light was poor. It was a little cold, so I renewed the birdbath water with warm water (something I rarely do).
The Dunnock went in and had a prolonged and thorough bath.
When it had eventually finished, it got out.
Then it got in again and had another prolonged bath in the warm water.
When it had eventually finished, it got out. Then it went in a third time and had yet another warm bath.
